Rupert Sanders – the married director who had a fling with Kristen Stewart – was spotted out in L.A. wearing his wedding ring.
The Snow White and the Huntsman director, 41, who was photographed Monday, issued a heartfelt apology to his wife and children, daughter Skyla, 7, and son Tennyson, 5.
"I love them with all my heart," he said at the time. "I am praying that we can get through this together."
Sanders's wife, Liberty Ross, gave an interview before the affair came to light, admitting they'd gone through a rough time after moving from London to L.A., but saying they'd come out even stronger.
The couple have not been seen together since the scandal broke.
As for Stewart, 22, her boyfriend Robert Pattinson asked her to remove her belongings from the Los Angeles home they previously shared. A source tells PEOPLE that Pattinson is heartbroken and angry.

Taylor Swift’s New Beau: Conor Kennedy?

Taylor Swift hugging Patrick Schwarzenegger. Conor Kennedy on right.
WENN
Oops, wrong Kennedy!
Over the Fourth of July, Taylor Swift was photographed hugging Patrick Schwarzenegger, Maria Shriver's son. But now it appears that Conor Kennedy, the son of Robert Kennedy Jr. and the late Mary Kennedy, is actually Taylor's love interest. He is pictured just to the right of Swift in the same photo – and the two have been spending lots of time together.
On July 25, Swift, 22, and Kennedy, 18, enjoyed slices at Kennedy family favorite Marcella's Pizza in his hometown, Mount Kisco, N.Y., and "walked out hand-in-hand," according to a source. Earlier that day, Kennedy was appointed as the administrator of his late mom's $2.1 million-plus estate, according to the Boston Herald.
Days later, the pair grabbed pizza again and visited with his grandmother, Ethel Kennedy. And on July 29, they lunched with friends at Baxter's on Cape Cod where she ate chicken fingers and sat next to Kennedy. Swift "was smiling a lot and she looked happy," says an observer.
The New York Post also reports that the couple were seen kissing and holding hands over the weekend.
Swift has been open about her love for all things Kennedy. She said she was "starstruck" when she met Caroline and Ethel in January, and has called Jackie Kennedy a style inspiration.
And the Kennedy's seem to admire the Grammy-winning country star as well. On Dec. 3, Swift will be honored by the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights for her commitment to social change, especially her work against bullying and LGBT discrimination. Ethel Kennedy will present the award.

Zara Phillips Olympics Equestrian Event: How Did She Fare?

Spoiler Alert: Results from the Olympic Games are available live online, several hours ahead of the telecasts. If you'd rather find out how the athletes fare on TV, stop reading here!
With her cousins cheering her on for the second day running, Zara Phillips jumped into the history books on Tuesday's Day Four of the Summer Games when she became the first British royal to win a silver Olympics medal – as part of the five-member Team GB equestrians' dramatic morning.
Despite a setback when Phillips clipped a fence, the announcer confirmed that the final round by team member Tina Cox had "guaranteed team silver." With that, spectator Prince William held his arms up in a clenched-fist victory salute. (For the record, Germany's team took the gold.)
As they were Monday, William, wife Kate and Prince Harry were back in the stands along with Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie to add their support. Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, along with Zara's mum Princess Anne and Zara's husband Mike Tindall also made up the family cheerleaders.
Kate, who wore the same blue blazer she did on Monday, this time over a Breton-style top, was both laughing and applauding with William as the contest moved toward its nail-biting climax.

Before the packed crowd there was a palpable silence that gradually built to an excited murmur as Cox and her horse Miner's Frolic negotiated every fence, insuring that the team would stay in the silver medal position.
When Phillips hit the fence she also picked up a time penalty, although this was made up for by a storming round by Mary King and another by Cook.
"I just had to get on with it," a teary Phillips told the BBC about her hitting the second fence. "Unfortunately that happens but he [horse High Kingdom] jumps magnificently and he lost two shoes yesterday. I'm just disappointed for the team but I'm chuffed to bits for him. The whole week has been an amazing experience."
Kristen Stewart cheating photos could fetch $300K, but not from US Weekly …
Photos of “Twilight” star Kristen Stewart canoodling with Rupert Sanders, the very married director of her last film “Snow White and the Huntsman,” have likely fetched “at least $250,000, maybe $300,000 on the high end” for the paparazzi agency involved, one expert tells FOXNews.com.
But FameFlyNet, the agency that took the juicy snaps of Stewart and Sanders, may not see that six-figure check for a while.
“If it’s an assignment, there’s not really a mega-money negotiation in advance (with the magazine),” explained Randy Bauer, owner of one of the world’s top paparazzi agencies, Bauer-Griffin. “There’s an understanding that the photo agency or

Writer made up Dylan quotes
"The lies are over now," writes New Yorker reporter Jonah Lehrer in a mea culpa on Jim Romenesko's blog admitting he manufactured out of whole cloth a series of quotes he attributed to rock-and-roll bard Bob Dylan in his acclaimed science book Imagine: How Creativity Works. "I understand the gravity of my position. I want to apologize to everyone I have let down," writes Lehrer, who has resigned from the New Yorker. "I will do my best to correct the record and ensure that my misquotations and mistakes are fixed."
Lehrer's transgression was exposed earlier this month by rocker and journalist Michael Moynihan, who challenged the Dylan quotes. Lehrer stonewalled.
Lehrer's troubles didn't start with Dylan. In June, Lehrer was accused of cribbing material from the Wall Street Journal in one of his blog entries. The New Yorker has since appended notes on five of his posts apologizing for "the duplication of material."

Palin, who came in third in Season 11, will join a cast of thousands, including Kirstie Alley, Pamela Anderson, Melissa Rycroft, Kelly Monaco, and Shawn Johnson on the new season, set to premiere Sept. 24.
McConaughey took a shower
Matthew McConaughey and Gina Gershon's William Friedkin-helmed comic thriller Killer Joe has received an NC-17 rating for its nudity, violence, and depiction of pedophilia. "Let's wear it as a badge and keep it shined!" Matthew tells FoxNews.com of the rating.
MM, who plays a pedophile cop, says intitially he was repulsed by the picture.
"I thought [the script] was gross. I put it down and threw it in the trash and wanted nothing to do with it," he says.
"Then I took a long, hot shower."
MM says some of his brainy friends convinced him the script was very good.
Will you marry . . . er . . . dump me?
Yet more details in the Kristen Stewart melodrama, which, if remotely true, will rend your heart in twain, shatter your soul into a thousand crystalline shards: RPat was thisclose to proposing before she came clean about her dirty "momentary indiscretion" with That Older Director Guy.
"Robert [Pattinson] hoped to marry Kristen and was making preparations to spring a proposal before she admitted cheating," Anonymous Source tells London tabloid The Mirror. "He had bought the house in Los Angeles to be their home and saw them staying there for a long time."
RPat used the weekend to move out of the manse. They're not speaking; they are sending "heated text messages only."
Just to prolong the pain - and milk every drop of ad revenue possible - Us Weekly has posted its super top-secret photos of KStew having a kiss with that non-RPat man.

Paul McCartney's bill: £1
Want to hire Paul McCartney as your wedding singer? He's going for cheap: one pound sterling ($1.57). That's the fee he and fellow rockers charged to perform at Friday's Danny Boyle-created London Olympics opening spectacular, Isles of Wonder. Performers, who included Kenneth Branagh, JK Rowling, James Bond actor Daniel Craig and Mike Oldfield, lent their services for little or no money. The three-hour show cost a reported $42 mil.

Best-Selling Author Lehrer Admits Fabricating Dylan Quotes for Book
By JEFFREY A. TRACHTENBERG
Jonah Lehrer's nonfiction book "Imagine: How Creativity Works" is being pulled from retailers following the disclosure that the author fabricated quotes from Bob Dylan.

Author Jonah Lehrer, shown in 2008: 'I want to apologize.'
The book's publisher, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, provided a statement from Mr. Lehrer in which the author acknowledged having lied to journalist Michael Moynihan after Mr. Moynihan questioned the authenticity of some of Mr. Dylan's quotes as they appeared in "Imagine."
"Three weeks ago, I received an email from journalist Michael Moynihan asking about Bob Dylan quotes in my book 'Imagine,' " said Mr. Lehrer in his statement. "The quotes in question either did not exist, were unintentional misquotations, or represented improper combinations of previously existing quotes. "But I told Mr. Moynihan that they were from archival interview footage provided to me by Dylan's representatives. This was a lie spoken in a moment of panic. When Mr. Moynihan followed up, I continued to lie, and say things I should not have said."
Efforts to reach Mr. Lehrer directly were unsuccessful.
Mr. Lehrer, whose book ranked No. 22 on the combined print and e-book New York Times nonfiction best-seller list dated Aug. 5, also said he has resigned as a staff reporter at the New Yorker magazine.
"I understand the gravity of my position," said Mr. Lehrer in his statement. "I want to apologize to everyone I have let down, especially my editors and readers. I also owe a sincere apology to Mr. Moynihan."
A person close to Mr. Dylan's management organization said it had no record of any contact with Mr. Lehrer, or inquiries from the writer.
A spokeswoman for Barnes Noble Inc.,
the country's largest bookstore chain, said Monday afternoon that the retailer is in the process of halting sales of the physical and digital editions. A spokeswoman for Amazon.com Inc.
said the online bookseller is also halting all sales.
A spokeswoman for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, a unit of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Co., said the digital books should be removed from all bookselling sites by the end of the day Monday. She said the publishing house has sold more than 200,000 copies of Mr. Lehrer's book in digital and physical formats.
In a statement issued by the New Yorker, David Remnick, editor, said, "This is a terrifically sad situation, but, in the end, what is most important is the integrity of what we publish and what we stand for."
Earlier this year, Mr. Lehrer was criticized for repurposing material he had originally written elsewhere. Jim Romenesko, a media writer, in June reported that a piece written by Mr. Lehrer and posted on the New Yorker site on June 12 bore similarity to a piece he wrote that appeared in The Wall Street Journal last Oct. 15.
The New Yorker subsequently appended an editor's note to Mr. Lehrer's piece that reads: "The introductory paragraphs of this post appeared in similar form in an October 2011 column by Jonah Lehrer for The Wall Street Journal. We regret the duplication of material." Mr. Romenesko later wrote that the editor notes appeared on "five of Jonah Lehrer's posts."
Mr. Lehrer contributed a biweekly column to The Wall Street Journal between Oct. 2, 2010 to June 8, 2012. The Journal said in a statement, "We are currently reviewing Mr. Lehrer's work for the Journal."
Mr. Moynihan, the journalist who brought up the subject with Mr. Lehrer, is a regular contributor to Tablet magazine, an online magazine about Jewish politics, news and culture, said Bari Weiss, who edits the news and politics section at Tablet.
"I wanted to see what he was about," said Mr. Moynihan. "I got his book. And Dylan is an interest of mine. Some of the quotes sounded off, and it didn't seem well sourced, so I started looking into it."
Mr. Moynihan said he first got in touch with Mr. Lehrer on July 7. "He could have had a good explanation," Mr. Moynihan said. "We did a long bout of emailing back and forth, and this is where we ended up."
